Terms and Conditions of Trade
These Terms and Conditions together with your order constitute the entire contract between First in Furniture and you for the supply of products. The contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing.
Trading Terms
Full Payment is required prior to dispatch of products. Methods of payment accepted: MasterCard & Visa Card.
Tax Invoice
The tax invoice will be sent to the customers nominated email when placing an order online. There is no minimum purchase amount.
Prices
The Price payable for the items that a customer orders are clearly set out on the website. All prices are inclusive of GST and in Australian Dollars. The price of the item(s) does not include the delivery charge. Delivery charges are calculated based on post code and listed on the website. Prices can change and our latest price is always displayed on our website. Third party websites may not always list our current prices. If for any reason there is a technical error and our websites displays an incorrect price, First in Furniture can cancel a sale at their own discretion and provide a refund.

All written and verbal quotes given are valid for 7 days only.
Stock Availability
Orders placed and paid for online are subject to availability.
Returns Policy
All our products are made to the highest quality and we stand by everything we sell 100%. However, if a brand new product is deemed to be faulty or damaged we will provide a refund or credit note given you notify us within 3 business days.
To obtain a refund, exchange a product or organise a repair to a product purchased from First in Furniture you must provide us with proof of purchase, this includes either a Tax Invoice or finance documentation.
We not accept refunds or credit notes if you simply change your mind.
Refunds will be processed using the payment method used at the time of purchase. If you purchased using a credit card, the refund will be processed using the same card.
Processing times for refunds may vary.
If an order is cancelled a cancellation fee to the amount at the discretion of First in Furniture will be charged.
Deposits/Layby
Customers intending to layby items can secure stock and pricing with a 30% deposit. First in Furniture will work within your requirements for the layby time frame and balance payments. If a stocked item on layby is cancelled within 3 months a full refund will be provided. If a stocked item is cancelled after 3 months a 50% restocking fee will apply.
First in Furniture will hold laybys for 6 months at the deposit price. Following the 6 months the customer will be subject to any price increases on the products.
Warranty
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and for compensation for loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the products repaired or replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality.
All goods excluding floor stock products and those sold “as is” are subject to a 12 month structural and mechanisms warranty (covered to a 120kg weight load only)
Warranty only applies for all new products supplied by First in Furniture for use in Australia only and is as per the Manufacturer Warranty.
This Warranty does not apply to
Normal wear and tear, including pilling, fading, loss or deterioration to the whole of the product or its components
Damage caused by improper use, cleaning, negligence, treatment, transportation, storage of the products or otherwise caused by your acts and or omissions.
Damaged caused through any modifications, alterations, improper assembly, tampering or products used commercially or in a manner exceptional to domestic use;
Damage caused by exposing the products to the sun, extreme heat or cold, or chemicals/agents that are known to damage the finish of the product;
Body impressions on mattresses, sofas, and chairs where the indentation is less than 32mm
Damages caused by Act of God;
Defects in floor stock products that are sold “As Is”
Consumer Guarantee
If there is a major failure with the product the customer is entitled to a full refund of the product, replacement or to obtain compensation for the drop in value caused by the major failure.
Delivery & Collection Terms and Conditions
Perth Metro delivery costs start at $60 including GST for local deliveries and increase depending on distance from our warehouse.
First in Furniture regularly delivers to regional WA. Delivery costs start at $100 including GST and increase depending on distance from our warehouse.
We use independent contractors to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
Delivery costs displayed on our website reflect delivery to a ground floor only. If a multiple story delivery is needed please contact our showroom to discuss the requirements before purchasing. Additional charges may apply.
We do not accept responsibility for damage sustained to the goods post-delivery.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct delivery address details are provided to First in Furniture. First in Furniture will endeavour to deliver the products on the nominated delivery date, however if the products are not delivered by the estimated date First in Furniture will not be liable for loss or damage, however it arises.
The customer is responsible to confirm the product ordered fits within the dimensions of access areas into the delivery address. e.g front door or back door.
The customer is responsible to confirm the order received matches their invoice. If a delivery is received and the item delivered does not match the item on the invoice of purchase the customer must inform First in Furniture immediately and leave the item unopened.
If nobody is available to accept the delivery at the nominated address and time, we will be unable to complete the delivery. In those circumstances, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery and additional charges may apply.
If a customer elects to collect from First in Furniture warehouse the customer must ensure they have appropriate transportation. First in Furniture cannot provide any protective coverings or tie down straps.
Credit Card Fraud, Protection and Prevention
When you place an order online using one of the payment methods we offer. We may send an email requesting further information to confirm the identity of the card holder, such as photo identification or a copy of the credit card. This is to ensure a safe and secure shopping experience and protection against fraud.
Accuracy of Information
First in Furniture endeavours to provide accurate information in this website, sometimes technical errors may occur. First in Furniture does not accept any responsibility for any error, or technical defect in the information provided on this website.
